NXT Takeover last night was fantastic. One of the best Wrestling shows I have seen.
2 match of the year candidates. Gargano-Kushida was incredible and Balor-Dunne was just as good.
The Mens Tag final was right there with them.
5 Matches in total and all 5 were good to great.

A real nice storyline arc from when he first met MVP after his return. Not sure if that was intended, but really good long-term storytelling.

The transformation of his character was well done.  I assume Lashley and Drew at WM.

 

The whole thing with Miz was pretty funny last night.  Miz is the best on the mic.

They paid off the entire cat/mouse game in one night, and Miz sold the hell out of the entire ordeal. He is -fantastic-.

I felt like they were wasting Miz's mic talents the last few months.  The last 2 weeks with Lashley he nailed it.  They built Lashley up nicely.  

His character along with Reigns are generating the most heat right now.

I was disappointed in the show, but last night was just a reminder on just how good, DB is.  Reigns also very good.

The WWE did its HOF ceremony yesterday.  They did 2 years worth in 3 hours so it was short and the speeches were brief and socially distanced, but Glenn Jacobs (Kane) showed how far he is from the Character he portrayed.  Smart, funny and articulate, and a real gentlemen.  He is the current mayor of Knox County Tenn. and his office overlooks an old arena where he had his first wrestling match.

I've met Kane in person a few times. Real nice guy. Sincere and down to earth.

In other news, I'm not at all interested in WrestleMania this year. About the only thing interesting to me is seeing some fans in the stands again.

Kane has had that rep for years.  Taker and Kane were often the guys the younger wrestlers turned to for help and mentorship.  

As for WM, there are some matches I want to see.  I will probably pick and choose.  The Bryan, Reigns and Edge match IMO has been built up perfectly. Drew and lashley should be good too.  There are some yawners on the card too.
