Doesn't seem likely unless he takes a big pay cut. Looks like he'll either be traded or have his option declined and be signed by someone else.

This apparently isn't happening. The Cubs needed to wait for Marmol to approve the trade, then pulled it even though he agreed.
The Angels have less than fifteen minutes to trade Haren, accept his option (and maybe trade him later), or decline his option and let him go for nothing.

Angels clearly decided they wanted Greinke. They jettisoned Santana and Haren and saved a lot of bucks. It will be an interesting fight between the Angels and Dodgers for Greinke.
