The lineup will be solid enough, especially with Weaver, Haren, Wilson, and Santana leading the way.

Not that it matters, but Pujols has started slow.

Morales has already had 20 ab's. If he gets back to his '09 production, that would be pretty huge for them.

Interesting that they did it immediately after the game. I wonder what Torii Hunter thinks, since he has apparently decided to start running his mouth as the players' spokesman.

Good to see that they not only brought up Trout, but by cutting Abreu gave him a regular spot in the lineup to take or leave.

We're one month (22 games) into the season and Pujols has zero home runs and 4 RBI. I seem to recall thinking that Pujols looked like he was starting to decline last season, although most of that was due to dealing with an injury.

I think he'll come around and be a solid above-average player for the Angels, but I don't think he'll come anywhere close to being a $240 million player.

Jerod Weaver is taking her out tonight. Finally gave up a walk in the seventh, but through seven, that's it.

No-no through eight.

Make that eight-and-a-third...

Jered Weaver no-hits the Twins. Nine strikeouts, one walk. 9-0 LA over Minnesota.

Well, I was going to bed after that Caps heart breaker, but then I saw that Weaver was close to a no-no. Thank god for MLB.TV.

I'm happy for him, the guy loves the game and deserves this. Seeing him in tears embracing his parents was a rich moment, I'm glad he shared that with us.

I love this game.

Have to say, I was disappointed wit the subject matter after the title got my hopes up. Thought maybe it was a thread about a stripper, but I guess that would have gone into the Other section of the board and not MLB. :D

Should a no-hitter this season count if it's against the Twins or Mariners?

I forget who it was (mayve KVV?) but on Twitter, someone said you should need to get 33 outs against the Twins/Mariners to qualify for a no-hitter.

Trout in his last 4 games:

10/18, 10 R, 4 RBI, 1 HR, 6 SB.

Really wish I was able to watch the Angels play more often.

Trout or Harper?

I figure like anything else you poll Nats fans they'll say Harper, poll Angels fans they'll say Trout.
