I’m just trying to pose that question strictly from a baseball POV.
If this was the NFL he'd be suiting up Sunday. Unless he was smoking weed too. Thats where the line is apparently.
I think his baseball career is over.

There's no chance he ever plays again.
Former client of ours - dude was always really weird with a giant ego who needed everything done for him, but I never would have expected this.

ESPN: Pittsburgh Pirates lefty Steven Brault makes his musical pitch
Hey guys, I obviously usually don't do this, but I wanted to pass along the news that one of our clients, Steven Brault with the Pirates (who you may recall from the O's Travis Snider trade), is releasing his debut music album today, "A Pitch at Broadway." It's been something we've been heavily working on for over a year now and I'm really excited about it finally happening. Steven has an incredible voice as you'll see from the album or from his past two renditions of the Star Spangled Banner before Pirates games at PNC Park the last two years.
Personally, I'm not the biggest musicals guy, but even if you are like me, would love to continue to spread the word!

Archer will not pitch this year.
He had surgery.

Archer has had a lot of very good seasons.
