Watched it the other night, it's fantastic. Raw and real, just what you'd expect from Bruce.

Springsteen's website is selling unsold posters from the 2016 tour for $40, and Baltimore is available.  They're numbered from 1 to 400, and the theory is that numbers 1-50 were held back for some reason, and are being sold now.  I ordered one, and got #39.

I'm sure Ghost of Tom Joad is a better song than Jungleland.

I'M SURE OF IT

The end of “Darkness...” with the title track...just incredible. What a record.

I was not familiar with Janey Needs A Shooter by Bruce but was extremely familiar with Jeannie Needs A Shooter by Warren Zevon. Quick trip down a google rabbit hole and apparently Warren loved the Springsteen title, Bruce told him to use it, so he then wrote his own version of the song. It's not a cover, but not wholly original either.

I love Bruce, but Zevon is probably my favorite songwriter ever. Something about his songs, both lyrics and music, just resonate with me.

Sways makes sense, since it rhymes with plays, but the lyrics included with the album say waves, and he occasionally sings waves.

Well, I got tickets at their "base" price.  Unfortunately, even the base price is insane.  It's McCartney all over again.

Maybe he can write a song about a working man who took out a second mortgage plus used his truck as collateral on a loan to buy tickets to see him perform.

Yes, I know, it’s not the artists who set these ticket prices.
