Not sure why NE would rather have Dalton over Hoyer.

Jax makes a lot of sense..as do the Steelers.

Dalton is better than Hoyer.

That’s not really relevant though.

Depends how committed NE is to evaluating Stidham.

Mike Reiss said this morning that he is getting nothing from them to believe Dalton is on the radar and that they want Stidham to get a chance.

He’s the starter.

They like Hoyer as that vet influence and someone who knows the offense, which is important right now.

Their defense + Belichik means they won't be bad enough to get Lawrence.

I pray he goes to the NFC.

So maybe Jacksonville for Dalton.

Jax or Pitt make the Most sense to me.

Btw, how bad do the Bears look taking on Foles’ contract and giving up a 4th rounder?

Was it possible for them to look worse after trading the farm to get Mitch?

I don’t think Dalton is an upgrade over Minshew.

Dalton to NE makes the most sense.

He wouldn’t start in Jax or NE.

Stidham is the starter and will get the look.

NE would need to perform some surgery to their cap to afford him. Unless he wants to play for league minimum.

What does everyone think about Burrow?  Last night was the first time I ever watched him play.   He showed some flashes but made several boneheaded, rookie mistakes.  I would say the hype is a bit premature.  I also wonder if he is going to wilt under the pressure to win in Cincinnati.    Burrow says he has never lost two in a row.  They may make another run at the number one pick.  Their defense is awful.  Maybe Cincy should have sat the kid for a year rather than subject him to the punishment he is going to take.  Thoughts?

From what I have seen from Burrow he passes the eye test. They should have won against LAC. Burrow made the throws to win that game.

He played well last night. Throwing 61 times in your second NFL game isn’t going to win you many games.

Hate to say it but he kinda reminds me of a rookie Peyton Manning.

Threw 62 times, AJ Green can no longer get open, and he was pressured the entire first two games. They have a ways to go to build around him, but he is phenomenal. Ugh.

Lamar vs. Burrow will be fun. Just wish he weren't in the AFC, yet alone our division. Hopefully Cincy screws the pooch on building around him, and he goes elsewhere in 5 years. He certainly doesn't have the right coach, so that's already working against him.

Burrows does look good.  His issue may be his organization.  Can we count on Mike Brown to put him at a disadvantage.
