He had shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum.
He’s out for the 2019 season.
At least he's not a pitcher.

Thanks Cincy. We play the Bengals in Finley's first start.

Gotta give Dalton credit. He could have just said F-U to the coaching staff and organization and sat on the bench the rest of the season. He pledged to help the new guy all that he could. Said he would help because he knows all of the defenses in their division games and could help him out on the schemes that he will see.

"I don't really care about (the contract negotiations)," was Green's exact quote. "If (the Bengals are) worried about me not playing or not being healthy, then there's 32 teams out there. I'm not really worried about that situation." This sounds like it is going downhill fast. Green was supposed to finally make his 2019 debut this week but has since removed himself from consideration. The Bengals should have traded their longtime No. 1 wideout ahead of last month's deadline, but that is something only a smart franchise would do.

Mike Brown and his reputation, are enough to give any player concern. At the end of the day, Burrow is very likely, not to have a choice.
Two things stand out. The Ravens were one of the examples used as how to run a franchise. The other, Arizona and Michael Bidwell. His father was often linked to Mike Brown as owners that at times seemed lost.

1st overall... Joe Burrow.
New division foe for the Ravens.

With the first pick of the 2nd round (33rd overall)... the Bengals take Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson.

Bengals start Day 3 with Akeem Davis-Gaither. Liked him a lot.
With him and Logan Wilson, they've updated their LBs.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up in NE.

The release at this stage of the off season, knowing the impact the stay at home order has on player movement at his position, is a reason why the Bengals are a losing culture. It's a total organization show and they don't care about their players at any point. This isn't the first rodeo for the Bengals and they do whatever is in their interest 100% of the time.
It's their right to do so, but that has impact on the landscape for the future cultural health in the organization...and one why it's a losing cluture.
It makes me appreciate how the Ravens operate, how other players appreciate how they operated, and why it's mainly a winning culture for the Ravens organization.

Yep, I would expect BB to pounce quickly.
I have always thought Dalton was better than he was given credit for. The Pats are not winning a Super Bowl with Dalton, if he signs, but he will get them to 8-10 wins.
