Had my first Rochefort 10, easily the best belgian quad I've ever had. Apparently it's on par with the Westy 12 but a quarter of the price.
Similar flavor profile as Corsendonk or St. Bernardus' Christmas ales but with a smoother velvety mouth feel, vanilla notes, and less alcohol taste despite having a higher ABV. Shit was magical

Kasteel Rouge 8. I'm not a big sour/fruity beer guy, but this was a beautiful summer beer. The sweetness and cherryness didn't overwhelm for me. Effervescent fun that still packs a punch.

More good beer now available in Maryland. Clown Shoes Beer based out of Ipswich, MA is now distributing in Maryland. Picked up their Clementine White yesterday. Smooth, clean and crisp, great Summer time beer.

Went to Hill Farmstead Brewery today as part of a summer road trip. Lived up to its billing as the best brewery in the world. Just a cut above. Literally off of a dirt road in middle of nowhere Vermont.
Got growlers of:
Abner
Nelson
Legitimacy
Society and Solitude #1
Edward
Bottles of other stuff as well.

Coming up on Fall Beer season. I know they've been showing up in stores for a few weeks, but now that we are almost into September I'm giving my self the okay to drink them. Got a head start on this and picked up a 6 pack of Warsteiner's Oktoberfest over the weekend.

Nothing pisses off the Cerrano class of drinker more than sours (IPA is second), so I love them for spite. Russian River Consecration is the best I've had.
Had that when we went to RR, but I preferred the Damnation myself.
