Recently had a couple of Brews from Sweet Water Brewing (based out of Georgia). A buddy gave me one of their IPA's to try which I thought was a solid beer. Even better was a 6 pack of their "Take Two Pils" (Pilsner). Not enough Pilsners out there and this one tasted great. I think I'll be trying a few more of their offerings.

Sweetwater 420 was the standard stock in the ATL son-in-law's beer fridge for a few years... which was perfectly fine with me... (it's since been replaced by Ranger, based in part on the value per dollar...)
EDIT: picking nits department... Sweetwater is one word... it's a place in the ATL area...

I wanted to take a moment and share that I've FINALLY begun my fund-raising efforts in an attempt to begin a brand new beer business with family members in Baltimore- Seks Beer.
If you'd care to watch our video, read about our plans and even choose a perk and donate (yes, please!), please visit us at SeksBeer.com or go directly to our campaign HERE.
We haven't done a big push out of the gate, as we wanted to respect the situation in Baltimore and not take advantage of the attention the city has attracted by waving our hands up and down and saying, hey, look at us! We'll wait another week for that!
The timing is unfortunate, but we have 60 days to raise the funds and begin something we hope will grow to be very special.
Thanks all.

Really is a good summer beer. Light, just a little hoppy, and has a bit of a citrus taste. I like it a lot.

Met some friends at Little Havana last Friday, crushed about 5 Boh's there, 4 more at the O's game, then a Resurrection and Birdhouse Ale sent me over the edge. Damn if it wasn't so pleasant though.

I'm not a big fan, but they also make Orange Shandy, Grapefruit Shandy, and Ginger Shandy, if you're interested in trying some similar beers.

Picked up Sweetwater's Blueberry Ale for my wife last week and wound up having one for myself as well. Damn good beer!
In other news we are about one month away from Bell's beers in Maryland.
