It's been a while since this thread has been updated, so I'll mention two(both local) excellent summer time beers I've had recently.
First up, Denizens "Born Bohemian Chech-Style Pilsner"
Next, Antietam's "Hager-Weiss Hefeweizen" This is a fantastic unfiltered that might be my most liked Hefe since having Dc Braus version.

Antietam looks to have a bunch of brews from my favorite styles, so I'm looking forward to trying out some of their other beers.

Dogfish Head World Wide Stout. Expensive for just a 12oz bottle, but damn if this ain't one of the best beers I've ever had. Bought up a handful of the limited supply at my local spot, aging one of em.
They also just made a version with vanilla bean added and aged in oak, it's crazy!

I have a 10 year bottle of Below Decks that I plan on drinking next month with my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary.

A billion bottles of beer: Nowhere in the nation brews more craft beer than Pa.
Every year, Pennsylvania brews enough craft beer to get the entire nation drunk. Twice.
Over a billion bottles of beer are produced in the state, according to data from Brewers Association. That's enough to give every American over the age of 21 over six drinks.
In a niche industry — which still only accounts for about 12 percent of U.S. beer sales, according to Brewers Association data — that's a lot of beer.

Busted out the homebrew equipment for the first time in at least a year or two this past weekend. Brewed myself a porter, should be ready to go by the holidays.

I had a taste of Utopias at a Beer Exchange in '09. Rob Kasper mentioned it in his beer blog. Don't remember much about it (pretty buzzed at the time) but I thought it was awesome to be able to try it!

Picked up some 1605 Red from Antietam over the weekend. I'm assuming the beer was skunk otherwise that's the worst tasting Red I've ever had. Kind of surprised about this because I've had a couple of their brews before that I've really liked not sure what happened on this brew (batch).
