There's a new Natty Boh available, Crab Shack Shandy. Although:
1) it's not really a shandy
2) it sounds like it might be Old Bay flavored, like Dead Rise, but it's not

I don't like that it's called a "malt beverage". All beers are "malt beverages", but when you actually put it on the can it sounds more like a Smirnoff Ice or a hard lemonade, twisted tea, etc.
Definitely gonna pick up a 6 pack and try it though.

I’m sure it’s awful
I have a keg of Boh in my kegerator right now.
I am not a fan of shandy so I probably won't like it much...but I'll definitely give it a try.
Never understood all the hate for Natty Boh. I wish they'd bring back Boh Ice.

It got popular. So it's cool to hate on it.
I like it though. And for the price, prefer it over the other major light beers out there.
It's the best of the cheap beers.

The hate stems from the idea that it tastes terrible.
It tastes better than any of the big 3 IMO.

Not exactly the ringing endorsement I’m looking for.

I'm not saying it stands up to a great Belgian beer or anything, but it's a good beer to have when eating crabs, watching a ball game or just hanging out.

It's a real light beer... only 4.5 ABV, but I've enjoyed Heavy Seas' Smooth Sail Summer Ale...

The other light beer I've been drinking is Big Wave from Kona Brewing...

Frankly both are like water, but good on a hot day.

So far this summer I haven't been straying too far from the sour section @ Total Beverage. With the heat wave, the sours are really doing it for me. Had a good dinner at Franklin's in Hyattsville over the holiday-they had a couple on tap (great beer menu there!)
Porch Rocker is my favorite big brewer summer beer these days...
