It's those friggin dew points. I rarely complain about the cold in winter, because I know July (the worst month of the year) is right around the corner.

I'm in Chicago right now, and the temp went from upper-80s on Monday to mid-70s yesterday. Wasn't much fun trying to go to the beach on the lake, but otherwise gorgeous.
You went waaaaay too early.....

Napa Valley had the best weather I've ever experienced. 50's at night, 80 during the day with little or no humidity. I could get used to that.

Ha, I know. We had this week available for a different reason. We got the Brewers home on Monday and the Cubs home tomorrow (Gale Sayers bobblehead day).

The Weather Channel is offering a "small token of our appreciation" for helping get them back on DirecTV. You can choose other providers, though, so I signed up to see what we get.
So, I completely forgot that I did this. Then today, I get an envelope in the mail. Inside is a note thanking me for being a Weather Channel viewer...and a signed (for real, it looks like) photo of Jim Cantore.
I'm kind of disappointed it wasn't Stephanie Abrams or Alex Wilson, but still pretty cool

I think DJ posted that one link and (I'm assuming) some of us went and filled out the info to get whatever free crap we were expecting them to send us. Then we forgot about it until we started getting TWC stuff in the mail.

Did we all get Cantore?
Also, just to keep this about the weather...storms coming tonight.

Yeah, mine's of Cantore, hand on hips, looking all boss.
As for weather, we actually had a wild weekend here. Thunderstorms/flash floods/etc.,etc. Some of the mountainy areas got like 5 inches in 1-2 days, which is a lot for us. Even ended up killing someone when a flash flood took the guys car off the road into a rocky ditch up in the mountains.
However, it was nice to see dark clouds, hear thunder, see lightning, see/hear/smell rain. Very boner-inducing.

Creepy
But yeah, I guess that's pretty rare in SoCal.

Yeah, my little 15 minute back road commute turned into an hour this morning. Still can't complain, considering, and my car is great in the snow. But still sucked. The back up heading south looked down right painful. Those folks probably STILL aren't at work.
