There are just so many good movies out right now that I need to see.
Saw Lone Survivor last week. Great movie.
Also want to see American Hustle, Her, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Saw the new Jack Ryan movie. Was decent but they probably could have fleshed the plot out a tad bit more.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

You can dream bigger man.
I didn't say she's the only one. But you gotta have one classy, mature woman on the list.

American Hustle is fantastic IMO. Bale was very De Niro like I thought.

You're right and the movie was very Goodfellas-like.
I love Goodfellas but thats why I'm not crazy about AH. I enjoyed it, the cast did great work and it was entertaining but it lacked an original voice. Bale was De Niro and the movie felt like Goodfellas. Which is ironic because Russell has a unique way about his movies.

Funny you mention it, I watched a movie last night that was a mafia movie made by Scorsese, but it was an action/comedy called The Family. Had De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones, Michelle Pfeifer and had quite a few Goodfellas references. It was surprisingly good as a lighter take on a mafia movie.

Did Scorcese produce The Family? I know he didn't direct it.

Yeah produced by Scorsese and directed by Luc Besson. I kept laughing at how it almost seemed like a love story to Goodfellas in a way, and then I saw the credits and said OOOOHHHHH that makes sense.

Yeah, I remember when that came out. Seemed interesting.

Linklater's next movie, Boyhood, is getting raves at Sundance. Shot over 12 years with the same actors following a boy from 6-18. Sounds like the dedication paid off. I'm with you on Before Midnight it was just so well done and rang so true.
Is that the one with Ethan Hawke? I remember seeing that on IMDB like 5 or 6 years ago on Hawk's page as "The Untitled 12 Year Project"
