Chicken Rico opened an Inner Harbor location today. Holy crap, that's some good chicken.
Thanks for mentioning this. Kelly and I went the other day and it was one of the best under $10 meals I've ever had!

It looks like the Inner Harbor Shake Shack is almost ready to open.
I was just reading about Shake Shack - apparently they started with a single hot dog cart. I bet the Wennie Works guys are wondering where it all went wrong for them.

Fleet Street kitchen last nite. Good cocktails and we had a matsutake mushroom app. Delish. I'd like to go for a full dinner sometime.
Went here with another couple recently. Nicer than I expected. Good times.

I did, my brother took me there when I was back there...
Problem is that I live 1000 miles away...

Ahh. Well. That does make it more difficult.

They are about to add them. Been testing them at limited stores for a couple months.

I crossed MLK at night last night and went to Nick's Rotisserie in Washington Hill. One yelp review said the chicken was so good she wanted to slap her grandma. Def a hole in the wall but decent chicken and awesome yams. Def would go back.

Chazz and Talara -- both Harbor East restaurants -- are closing.
Seems odd that Talara would close, they always seemed to do good business. That said the owners were from Pittsburgh and this was their only non-Pitt restaurant so maybe they just wanted to move on.

Went to Waterfront Kitchen (not the same as Waterfront Hotel) on Saturday night. They're seed-to-plate, and a lot of their vegetables come from the Living Classrooms Foundation's gardening program. A little pricey for a random dinner, but so, so worth it for special occasions. Also had some terrific service - I ordered a cocktail that ended up not really being my thing, our waitress noticed that I wasn't drinking it, comped it, and brought out a beer instead. I was perfectly happy to chalk it up to an adventurous decision that didn't pan out, and I felt like she went above and beyond.
Also a really cool view of the Harbor. I'm definitely looking forward to going back. And we saw a guy propose on the pier; it looked like Waterfront Kitchen had set them up with heat lamps and a table for two outside.

Chicken Rico is my crack. It's rare when a week goes by without me stopping in. 1/2 chicken with fried rice and plantains.

Not surprised about Chazz. I havent been, but its because three different people told me it was not good.

Should've had a B-list Italian-American actor like Joe Mantenga involved instead of a C-lister.

Their pizza was pretty good. Never had anything else.

Mussel Bar is opening in the former Townhouse location on Lancaster. I've been to the Bethesda location a few times...really good mussels, beer list...should be a welcome addition to the city.
