I'll have my preview article up for the game on Thursday afternoon. It will include an interview with Grant Traylor of The Herald-Dispatch. I'll also be joining The Lance Rinker Show on Friday afternoon before the game to provide a quick preview of what we can expect. I know some people aren't exactly enthusiastic about this game, but I'm excited to watch the Terps in their first bowl game under Randy Edsall. From everything I've seen, it's just one of many to come with him at the helm. Hopefully they can come out with a win and really head into the Big Ten with some confidence.

Per Grant Traylor, these are the special helmets that Marshall will be wearing for the game on Friday. The Terps will wear their "White Ops" uniforms.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Marshall.  This is a program that really has no reason to be any good at football, and yet they have a very proud football tradition.  Add in the story of the plane crash and the subsequent rebuilding of the program and it's hard for me to not like this team.

Maryland needs to control the clock by effectively running the ball.  They have more success when running and it will help keep the Marshall offense off the field
