Liked the finale of Star Trek Lower Decks cause of the Riker appearance. But man most of the first season it's really trying and failing to be Rick and Morty.

Aw, I didn't know they'd cancelled Altered Carbon.
I caught a little snip of that the other day and got all mad. I really liked that show.

Apparently, not enough fans were watching
Deadline highlighted "the streamer's standard viewership vs cost renewal review process" as the driving factor behind Altered Carbon's cancellation.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association summer press tour back in 2018, Netflix's vice president of original programming Cindy Holland explained a little about how Netflix thinks when it comes to renewals.
"The biggest thing that we look at is, are we getting enough viewership to justify the cost of the series?" she said.
"We also look at other things: how beloved the fan community is, how social a title is. There are lots of other things that we look at that."

Looks like Mindhunter might be done too. They're lucky they still have Black Mirror and The Witcher.

Alas, I only have 10 more episodes of Frasier to watch. Thinking Schitt's Creek might be next.

Schitt's Creek is slowly growing on me. I don't get why it was so hyped, but it's enjoyable enough.

I am watching The Exorcist show on Hulu for Halloween. I have to say, I'm shocked at how well done it is. The twist that connects it to the first film was really well executed too. This could have very easily been a "demon of the week" kind of procedural but this has a main storyline the whole season. I recommend it!

Today was Disney Investor Day and a slew of news content was dropped. I am sure will continue to roll in but so far we have:
- Disney will be releasing 10 new Marvel series and 10 new Star Wars series on the Disney+ platform
- 15 Disney/Pixar series and 15 Pixar short features will also be included on the Disney+ platform
- Starting in 2021, ESPN+ will be viewable within the Hulu app (hopefully this will also be the case for those of us with Hulu Live)
- Marvel News
- Star Wars News

Man Wes Chatham was intense in those first few episode of The Expanse season 5. That dude is just nailing his portrayal of the character.

My wife says I watch to much TV. This list is proof that I do not watch enough. I don't think I have seen any of these. I told her she did not know what she was talking about.
