"Upload" on Amazon is really, really good. Light-hearted but incredibly creepy at the same time. Got through it all in one sitting after a stressful year-end.

I realized my students were all into it when I was playing Changes by Charles Bradley and all the 8th grade boys started singing along. It was so funny because they all were literally mid-puberty and you could tell by the way they were belting it was deeply felt.

The magic question: can a Harry Potter TV show work?
News of a Harry Potter show in early development at HBO Max begs the question: what can justify another extension to an already stretched universe?

Anyone see the Night Stalker documentary on Netflix? It’s about a serial killer who terrorized LA in the early 90’s, and focuses on the two detectives. Excellent show. They probably could done in one less episode but we still really enjoyed it. That was one messed up, scary dude.

Finally got around to watching Wu Tang: An American Saga. It's from 2019 on Hulu.
Starts off a little cheesy and soap-y but toward the end of the season it gets going as it catches up to familiar history. I could nitpick the show all day but I really do enjoy it.

A TV series or movie on the game Mass Effect? Starring Superman, Geralt of Rivia... Henry Cavill... count me in.

I liked it, but the last couple seasons I’ve watched cause I was already that far in. I dont really need more of it.

I find it compelling enough to keep going. They're short enough seasons that the show doesn't suffer from the same issues I have with a lot of procedurals in how boring it gets.

Watching the PBS Reconstruction Documentary again at school.
I really wish more people would watch this and things like them.
Especially this though because there is so little awareness in this country IMO of Reconstruction and its aftermath (this is on purpose too).
If people were better educated on this topic, the conversations we have on race in this country would be so much better. Just realizing how much BS The Lost Cause is would go a long way.

Started the Disney+ Mighty Ducks show, seems cute but the first episode was 42 minutes which is definitely a solid 10 minutes longer than I'd expect for a Disney movie reboot

It’s getting good reviews, gonna try to watch it with the kids. They liked the movies when we watched them last year.

I'm a pretty big F-1 fan. Checked out the first episode of season 3 today and I liked it so I'll watch more.
