Every few years there's a skyride type of transit proposal that pops up in the city.
I'm all for finding cheaper alternatives and being on the cutting edge of new transit technology, but I also don't want to see the city mired in a boondoggle just to be cool and different. Heavy rail and light rail, as well as BRT, is what other cities use and have used for over a hundred years, so I'm still hoping we can get something like that here, on a scale that works.
