Big double play there.

Pretty uninspired effort overall. Matusz looked awful. Consistently falling behind hitters, then serving up pitches. Very frustrating. Only bright spot to this point has been Wieters, who has looked excellent at the plate. Holding out hope for a comeback, but not expecting one. Nova has been a step ahead of most of the offense tonight.

Markakis pops out to Tex in foul territory.

Great stat from Thorne there about the minimal amount of leadoff batters that Nova walks.

Jones grounds in between Nunez and Jeter, with Nunez kind of getting in Jeter's way. Jones safe at first, with the official call being a single.

ARod grounds out to Hardy. ARod not exactly blazing down the line. Can't believe he has so much time left on his deal.

Tex grounds out to Hardy. 2 out.

Liking what we are seeing from Patton. That is encouraging.
