Pretty uninspired effort overall. Matusz looked awful. Consistently falling behind hitters, then serving up pitches. Very frustrating. Only bright spot to this point has been Wieters, who has looked excellent at the plate. Holding out hope for a comeback, but not expecting one. Nova has been a step ahead of most of the offense tonight.

Great stat from Thorne there about the minimal amount of leadoff batters that Nova walks.
