Of course they do... they just don't realize what they're asking...

Would bring about a ton of issues, but think you could make it work once every four years. Think it would be great.

Maybe don't have an All-Star break, and the start the season a week earlier?

The NHL made it work in the Winter, right?

Baseball Is already up against it weather wise on both ends of its season.

Plus I wouldn't think teams would be eager to let their players play in this, especially the pitchers.

Sure...but who gives a shit about hockey?

That's why they do it...to try and get people interested in the sport.

I don't see MLB's motivation for doing it... it creates a ton of problems... and for what?

I don't see a good motivation for MLB. Typical Olympic viewers won't have the attention span to follow a baseball tournament. Plus it throws off your pitchers at a bad time.

Just let college kids play like they used to.

IOC member Dick Pound says Tokyo Olympic organizers have until late May to see if the virus is under control. If not, "you're probably looking at a cancellation."

You think the olympics happen this Summer?  Obviously a vaccine being out there should go along way to this happening, but I was reading an article about Japanese residents saying they don't see it happening.

Thought I was in OH and seeing resurrection threads LOL

I personally do not see it happening, COVID will still be an issue until more the end of 2021. If you believe Dr. Fauci. Saying at least through the summer of 2021 and probably closer to the end of the calendar year.
