The Angels are putrid. Bases loaded, 1 out with the trying run on third and Trumbo and Nelson strikeout to end the game. Huge contracts to Pujols and Hamilton who look horrible. Still, a very talented roster that's 10 games under .500. How long does Scioscia keep his job?

If it weren't for having a World Series Trophy, I'd forget they even HAVE a baseball team...
At the height of my Yankee hatred Luis Gonzalez will forever be a bright spot through the Oriole dark age.

You can't help that thsoe two big bats have sucked donkey penis since becoming Angels....I just don't get Pujols besides the fact that his plantar faciitus really effects him poorly. I've had that, and while it sucks, if you treat it, stay off it as much as possible, you can work through it...maybe Jack Clark is right....(i'd hate for that to be true).....ugh!

Probably atleast the end of the season, I don't see why they'd switch managers at this point. And Scioscia has built up enough respect at this point to prevent that from happening IMO.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Arizona able to get just 1 on Steve's grounder. Runners on the corners, 1 out.

Steve Pierce helps move Hardy to 3rd, but before that i was gonna say that he may have the goofiest batting stance I've seen on this side of David Eckstein or Julio Franco.

Is there any chance Buck pitched Feldman tonight because he knew Ted Barrett was the ump? Seems like a great combo for us. He always has a big zone.

It is the most memorable World Series of my lifetime... or at least that I can remember.
