Maybe Brady just didn’t want to move his family to Indy?

I think they'll be worse with Rivers than with Brissett. Rivers is a loser plain and simple. Always has been.

First part may be right as he's probably washed up. Second part is wrong.

I'm interested to see if Rivers has anything left. He looked rough at the end of this past season. Throwing off back leg, no arm strength, defenses gambling to beat him because they weren't scared.
Think NE goes after Brissett?

However, I do think it’s fair to question just how good he will be.
Indy has an excellent line, good running game and some weapons but they need more receiver help.
I do think he’s an upgrade over Brissett.

Brissett is signed. I doubt they look to trade him unless they get a QB in the draft.
NE really should tank but if they aren’t going to do that, they should sign Jameis. He doesn’t have much of a market right now and probably will come cheaper than he should.
The upside is there and maybe BB can get through to him w/r/t being careless with the ball.

Yeah, I was talking trade in regards to Brissett.
The turnovers are so immense for Winston, I'd be surprised if BB would go with him.

I think Winston could drive the Hoodie into retirement. I think the Pats trading for Newton is more likely.

The Colts signed Rivers, but I would not be shocked to see them double dip with a backup QB salary and heavy incentives if starting and sign Jameis Winston.
They have the ample cap space, he can learn from Rivers and watch the game from a far, take the reins as they will need to fill the position in 2021.

At 41... Indy selects Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin.

Surprised the Eagles got that much for him without having to pay his $10M roster bonus.
For the Colts to make this trade must mean that Reich is a fan and I think he's a good judge of quarterback talent. If Wentz re-establishes himself as a solid quarterback then the 4/$98.4M left on his deal will be a bargain (17 other guys currently make $25M/year or more already). And after this year none of it is guaranteed so they'll be able to get out of it easily if they decide it hasn't worked out.
