Just noticed the 30th anniversary patch on the Colts jersey. Wow, it's been a long time since they've moved and things have changed in that time.

Just my $0.02.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

In a few seasons, they'll have been in Indy longer than they were here.

They've already passed in games played. Next year, it will be 31-31 in seasons.

CBS Sports: Tony Dungy: Jim Irsay would've kept Peyton Manning 'in hindsight'

http://www.cbssports...ng-in-hindsight

I'm not so sure, Peyton is performing at a high level but Luck is probably a better long-term bet. Luck did pretty well last year and who knows how Peyton ends up doing. It was probably the best move for both parties.

ESPN: Irsay owes Manning more respect

http://espn.go.com/n...manning-won-him

Really Jim Irsay should just shut up, Manning did more for that franchise than anyone else once they arrived in Indy. They're likely in LA (or somewhere else), if they draft Ryan Leaf IMO.

Irasay is a jackass but he's not wrong to have wanted and expected more rings during Manning's tenure there.

I don't think he is, his father was but I would judge him separately.

Since when did the Colts become the Cowboys?

Yeah, he's off base. The NFL Playoffs are a crap shoot to a degree, and he was competing in the AFC vs. the Pats who actually had a competent GM and coach to go along with a HOF QB. The Colts were always about Peyton Manning, that's it. He gave them a shot 11 times, for that Irsay owes him everything. As Dungy said, Lucas Oil Stadium isn't there without him.

He probably blames Manning for forcing him to stay in that podunk town :P

Yeah that's my main problem with all of it is he (Irsay) has benefited more than anyone from Peyton Manning. If you had presented the resume that Peyton pulled off in Indy, you would take it in a heartbeat. Amazing how much of a difference there was between him/Leaf and many would've taken Leaf.

I agree with the playoffs are somewhat of a crapshoot and he sure wasn't Brady in them (and I'm one who thinks Brady benefited from the NE system in Belichick). But all-in-all, from what they were pre-PM to what they are now, it's a world of difference. You could make the arugment, he impacted his team more than any single player in the NFL of the last 15-20 years, both on-and-off the field.

Jim Irsay took a dig at Peyton Manning in postgame locker room

It's looking more and more like this apple didn't fall as far from the tree as people thought.
