Perhaps one of the best scenes ever...

Connery was excellent.  He adapted to what ever role he played.  he never looked uncomfortable in any role.

Not only never looked uncomfortable, but pulling off the role with a total mastery.

Irish Beat Cop, Jewel Thief, James Bond or Russian Sub Cap. Doesnt matter, you watch him and he sucks you into believing him in that role.

Heard about Trebek during halftime of the game. That stung. Guy has been in my living room quite a bit for my entire life.

Heisman Trophy winner and Packer great Paul Hornung died today at 84. Another HOF (College, Pro and Wisconsin Athletic) athlete from my youth. This terrible year just keeps getting worse.

HOFer. Go look at his advanced stats people.

His negative defensive value and poor longevity really cost him. Absolutely a HOF level bat, though.

Dick Allen should already be in the HOF.

RIP.

RIP Dick, he was one of the most feared sluggers in the late 60’s and 70’s.  I agree, he should be in the Hall.

His brother Hank was a major league player too, but nowhere near Dick

That's a hell of a life. Gonna try to watch The Right Stuff soon (I've re-read it recently). Yeager needs to be even more famous than he is.
