RIP Mary Ann.  We saw her in a play years ago. she was a very pretty woman.  I sat through the entire play before I realized it was her.

Good way to start an ice breaking discussion among guys.

Mary Ann or Ginger? :)

I'll take your word for it, but I thought Gilligan was his last name.

The coast guard stuff is hilarious.

Who knew Gilligan's Island was reality TV?

From his wiki:

Gilligan's full name has been a subject of debate among fans of the series for decades. On the 2004 DVD release of season one, Gilligan's Island — The Complete First Season, a documentary called Before the Three Hour Tour shows that Sherwood Schwartz's original treatment for the series indicated that Gilligan's full name in the failed pilot was to be "Willy Gilligan", but that rendition, with other unfamiliar castaways, was canned and did not air. The documentary also reveals that Schwartz found the name "Gilligan" by flipping through a Los Angeles telephone directory. Another story was that the term Gilligan was once mariner's slang for an unlucky or jinxed member of a ship's crew.[4]

Bob Denver, on various television/radio interviews (The Pat Sajak Show, KDKA radio), said that "Gil Egan" was his choice. The actor reasoned that because everyone yelled at the first mate, it ran together as "Gilligan". On the May 18, 1988, episode of the Late Show on Fox, Denver said that Sherwood Schwartz told him Gilligan's first name was Willy.[5]

Absolutely Mary Ann over Ginger.

I remember watching Gilligan's Island as a child and just becoming so irritated at the characters.  Obviously every episode was pretty much the same.  Come up with a plan, Gilligan screws it up somehow at the last minute.  And I would think to myself, JUST DO THE SAME PLAN AGAIN BUT KEEP GILLIGAN AWAY FROM IT THIS TIME!!!!

RIP Ms. Wells.

You knew Gilligan would screw it up but you couldn't stay mad at him.

RIP Dawn Wells indeed.

Not gonna lie, I had to look up "who" this was.

My social media game is sorely lacking.

I had no clue. I'll admit I had to look up what QAnon meant very recently as well.

Thankfully, google can described most of the internet slang, which is good, because I have to check it, just to understand whats been said lol
