I think after the lists come out, it might work well to have guests come on to argue for someone not included, or against someone that was.
As well as the order of guys.

No I'll compile a list. I do think yourself and Rob and the guest should compare lists preshow and find the talking points for the show. I think this list thing gives the show it's best opportunity to actually debate . There hasn't been a whole lot of that to this point but the subjective nature of the topic really opens it up.
True. Rob and I will have to talk about this further to iron out the details.

Wow..just finished up my list...it was really difficult.
Hard to believe some of the guys I left off.
This is going to be fun.
Yeah, I wrote down about 15 honorable mentions.

I'm second guessing myself a lot right now.

How does one participate?
Or is it too late?

Well tonight we're doing baseball's 11-20th best players and next week we will do the top 10. If by participate, you mean being a guest, it would be cool for you to come on when we get to basketball. Otherwise, you can obviously debate with us regarding our lists on here.

I'd love it...
Being a guest, and debating on here. Both sound great!

Indeed.
It would be cool to see some lists from other posters as we reveal them on the podcast.

Ricker, Nickle, and I killed some time in the game thread today talking about this. Check that out if you like: http://www.baltimore...enspring/page-5
And if you want to give some opinions/advice, that would be great. I'm especially struggling with the QB's.

Just seeing this for the first time...Great job guys, my only beef is that I'd have had Griffey higher..The kid was just incredible to watch. I'm also irrationally biased against Curt Schilling, so he wouldn't have sniffed my list.

As I said on the podcast, Griffey wasn't as dominant of a hitter as most people seem to think and he faded from greatness relatively early.
His 136 career OPS+ doesn't compare well to the other great hitters of the era, but of course he generally brought more positional/defensive/baserunning value than those guys.

He deifintely faded early, no disagreement there.. Injuries, running into walls...etc. He could have been one of the greatest ever!

Well I think it would have been difficult for him to crack the top 6 for me on this list even without the injuries. His numbers and defense slipped before he started missing a lot of games.
