This is Jerome Williams first start on the season. He has had 8 appearances out of the bullpen, and over 21.1 IP, he posted a 4.64 K/9, a 2.53 BB/9, a 2.95 FIP and 4.70 xFIP. His career HR/FB% is 10.7%, but has not allowed a home run in 2013.

Wow, I really thought they'd give him the day again with tomorrow's off day. It must really not be a big deal at all. Good stuff.

I'm with you here. And I didn't think it was the serious at the time even. But I'm a little surprised how soon he's back. I wouldn't have been as much if he was DHing.

Seeing the ad in left center field in Angel Stadium, I'm surprised that Jersey Mike's has made it's way out west, considering it's just barely made it's entrance into Maryland over the last few years.

I just hope he's not hurting a bit still....i would hate for a nagging injury to put him on the DL later in the season when we really really need him!

Hammel just hasn't been the same guy as last year. Hopefully he can still be better than the guy he's been every year up until then.
