Big projectable lefty. Has good stuff and could be position player or pitcher. Thought he was a good fit for an NL team where he could hit once in a while.

Yeah, and UNC pitchers are underrated all the time. I liked him as a Freshman when I saw him.

If I had to equate it, it's probably close to when Markakis came out and they weren't sure if he'd play OF or Pitch. He's really good at both.

Matt Harvey went 7th a few years ago I think. That's worked out I'd say.

 

Of course, Scott Bankhead is my favorite Tar Heel pitcher ever!

I see him as a third or fourth round bat.  He struggled this year, but I was told he looked good last summer.

Obviously the O's made the right choice with Markakis, but how good of a pitcher do you think he would have been?

 

RP I think, because he only had 2 really good pitches, but he threw mid 90's and had a good breaking ball when he got drafted.
