LeBron and Ben are in a class by themselves when it comes to the attention seeking need for adulation.

Disagree about LeBron, but regardless, at least he actually backs it up by being one of the GOAT's and 48 minutes away from another Championship.

Ben is a Nancy and has no room to complain about anything. Especially with various sites fellating them, having Pitt as high as 3rd in the power rankings, which is a complete joke. If you wanted to look at standings, you can do that - for power rankings to have them that high is absurd IMO.

I'm insulting him.

Every off-season he makes up a lie about how he's considering retirement. It's the grander version of how he pretends every week how some small injury could keep him out of the upcoming game. These are clearly just attention seeking behaviors and to create adulation for his toughness and tenacity.

I think there are many players like that in all sports, they had smoke blow up their butt so long, they believe the hype. Look at some of them, surrounded by posse of hangers on as they go clubbing. They think the whole world is them. They live to get seen on TMZ.

I respect the Brooks Robinsons, Darrel Greens and Art Monks of the world. World class guys first and then serious team HOF players on the field. Yes, I know, there are many many more than just 3, but they jumped off my fingertips.

Steelers thread so not gonna hijack but come on bro. You know LeBron is an attention seeker who craves adulation to the extreme.

He's a superstar with accolades for days who acts accordingly. No different than any other super star honestly. I choose to enjoy the greatness. We could have a whole other discussion on the psychology of super stars, but no need to single him out.

Its so extreme that he singles himself out. We can pick it up in the NBA thread if necessary.

Pittsburgh fears that Devin Bush has a torn ACL. Confirmation after tomorrow's scheduled MRI. Hige blow to that defense.

I saw odds went from +4 to +10 for Browns.

I'm not saying they're a lock, but I still think the Steelers have a decent shot at winning this weekend anyway. The Browns are still the Browns until they're not. Losing to the Jets last weekend was so Cleveland.

I think the Browns still have 9 or 10 players on the Covid list.  Some are eligible to come off tomorrow, if they do not test positive.

Apparently that was premature and Hue Jackson has now interviewed as well.

Also they are bringing in Dwayne Haskins for a visit today.

Good news for us. Good news for Pittsburgh area strip clubs.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Well Ben is coming back. He was due $15M in a couple weeks + another $4M base so I wonder how much of a cut he's taking?

ETA: per Tom Pelissero, apparently took a $5M cut to $14M, but spread over 2 seasons to save $15M on this year's cap.
