James Harrison says Tomlin “gave him an envelope” after devastating hit

 https://apple.news/A...cRUGaeycLOW91Qw

so with all the suspensions that came down for Bountygate which contained no evidence that any rewards were handed out for any hits, here we have a player admitting to receiving a reward for a hit by the HC. Will there be a suspension here? I think Payton is right and nothing will happen. Especially to a darling NFL team like the Steelers.

Were there any repercussions when Tomlin stepped onto the field during Jacobys return. That was the shadiest thing Ive ever seen a head coach do on the field. So obvious and brazen. So no, I dont expect anything to come of this.

Yep.

I also believe that had that been any other HC other than maybe BB, that coach gets suspended for a game or two.

There are teams the NFL protects and the Steelers are one of them.  Nothing will come of it.

According to ESPN First Take, Harrison now says it didn't happen.  Dude has always been an idiot.

He got told to shut the hell up.  It is 10 years ago, so not sure why he decided to run his big mouth now.

I wonder if Ben's road struggles disappear in a no-fan environment

I keep hearing the "with Ben healthy..." narrative.

He's never been healthy. He's not going to get healthier at 38.

Maybe, but he started 16 games in 2018 when he threw for 5,000 yards.

He doesn't even have to play in all 16 games to vastly improve what Pittsburgh received from their QB in '19.

With the extra playoff spot this year, it would surprise me if they didn't make the playoffs.

Looks like Pittsburgh just lost their starting Right Tackle, Zach Banner for the season.

It probably makes him seriously consider retirement.

I think he has about 34 millions to play next season, not to mention the bucks this season, he would cough up.

I'm insulting him.

Every off-season he makes up a lie about how he's considering retirement. It's the grander version of how he pretends every week how some small injury could keep him out of the upcoming game. These are clearly just attention seeking behaviors and to create adulation for his toughness and tenacity.

LeBron and Ben are in a class by themselves when it comes to the attention seeking need for adulation.
