Brady and Rhule are going to make a really good staff for Carolina. Two great hires, IMO.

 

Will be interesting to see how the college tandem does making the jump.  I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but O'Brien and Harbaugh are probably the most successful recent guys.  And you gotta go back pretty far on Harbaugh.  Not a lot of college coaches with no NFL head coach experience (so exclude Pete Carroll) who have done really good jobs.  Not a lot of opportunities either, so could be a meaningless correlation.

I wonder sometimes if we need to re-examine the sport when we say things like "good for him" when a player decides to protect his body and brain rather than continue to play.

Wow. Kyle Allen won that many and Teddy is better than him for sure. You were down on Teddy in NOLA too and he played very well. I don’t think this makes a lot of sense for Carolina because they lack talent on both sides of the field. I had Teddy pegged for NE once Brady decided to leave.
