So McCarthy and Harbaugh drink from the same fountain. 4th and goal at the 1. Tries a hard count, doesn't work. Calls timeout. Discuss, and decide to run it up the gut, stopped short.

Also, Ty Montgomery, a WR, ran it up the gut with their top two RBs out for this game. Knile Davis was recently signed, might not know the playbook yet, but I'm sure knows "run 1 yard up the middle".

Or you know....take the three points.

Eventually teams will fail enough that math will say it is a bad idea to go for it.

The difference between the Ravens and Packers is that the Ravens can run the ball.

I didn't get the try to get offsides, call a TO and then run a play anyway concept though. That was just stupid.

So...just looked up Aaron Rodgers stats. My God. 297 TD's, 72 INT. That's just insane. Thrown double digit picks just twice in his career and one of those years was his first as a starter. Hasn't thrown double digit picks since 2010.

To go from Brett Favre, to Rodgers, who is better, is crazy. Better than Montana/Young.

This is VERY interesting... the rule seems quite clear, and GB's violation of it even clearer...

http://www.espn.com/...odgers-released

(Since GB placed Rodgers on IR without suffering a new injury, they may have to release him)

No chance that happens but I can see GB slapped with some kind of penalty.

Lol can you imagine if they had to release him?

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
