Patricia is going to be their coach. Be interesting to see how good he is away from B.B.
He'll be an epic failure. I've said it before, he's got the resume of a guy with everything to lose if he were to ever whistle blow on the Pats cheating ways. Or, the resume that suggests the only way he'd be successful in the NFL is through cheating. Belichick is a great defensive mind, add in the cheating, Patricia is just a guy who has to keep his mouth shut and call what BB wants.
Put him out on his own without the BB safety net and the other "resources", he'll be fired before year 3.

I knew this was coming from you. I thought about you when he got hired.
I think its very possible you are right.

Ex-Pats coordinators don't have a solid track record. I don't expect much from Patricia either. He'll be back in NE within 3 years.

T.J. Hockenson is a great receiver, but his presence as a run blocker in front of Kerryon Johnson is where his true value lies. As long as Kerryon stays healthy, this run game is going to be NASTY.

ESPN:
The Lions have to like what they've seen defensively so far Sunday against Arizona. Devon Kennard has three sacks. Kyler Murray has been largely handled and save for a Jamal Agnew muffed punt, Detroit might have shut the Cardinals out -- and did hold them to just a field goal in a goal-to-go situation following the Agnew miss. The defense has been fast. It's been instinctive and it's seemingly been everywhere Murray has tried to go. Considering this expected to a strength of this team, that's a very good early sign this season. The Lions offense has also done well. There have been some periods of stagnation, but Darrell Bevell has drawn up some nice play calls, particularly the touchdown reception by Kenny Golladay, and Danny Amendola has shown he still have his shiftiness. Add in the strong play of rookie T.J. Hockenson (3-77) and its a first half Detroit can largely feel good about, but it needs to keep from a second-half letdown.
