Pretty modest price, especially considering the nearly minimum salary that ZDS is making.  Gotta think EDC was interested since they've had interest in ZDS before.  There are other pass rushers out there, so not beating this price is an intentional decision by the Ravens.  I think we really need help, so hope this means they prefer someone else and think they can get that done.

Didn't ZDS backout of an agreed deal with the Ravens? Figure that's why the Ravens didn't pursue here.

Weren't there recent rumors of the Ravens being interested? Don't think the failed deal a couple of years ago would've impacted a trade.

Highly doubt this is a factor.  I'd be really bummed out if EDC is petty enough for that to be a consideration.  If it is, then he's hurting the team - or at least possibly hurting it if he can't find a better deal - for the sake of his ego.
