Ok, so to actually type and post something, tapatalk does the same thing?

Right. It's just the navigating to where you want to type and post that tapatalk is really great for.

Yes, but that's a pain when on tapatalk there's a convenient thumbs up right there to like a post.

Ok...so, this to me is what Chris was talking about. He looks at it as, can you post as effectively or not. I think that was his point.(I'm on his side in this but I doubt use the broad the same way some do or need other forums like OR has talked about).

Don't disagree that it's a pain...just saying, it can be done fairly easily.

That's huge for me.

There isn't that for each thread, but there is a "view new content" button to see all threads which have new posts at least. And when you click on a thread it takes you to the first unread post.

Okay. I found that. I suppose it's only the 'like' that's keeping me from using the mobile site then.

The context of what he was saying is that the mobile site is just as good. That just isn't true for those who use Tapatalk regularly. But it's not a huge deal (not as big a deal as I was making it). You can't make everyone happy. I was only trying to state my preference.

That and the general navigation/touch/feel, but that's really just a matter of preference.

Just tried, and unless the option is hidden, no you can't.

 

I'd also be curious if there are options that can be changed on the mobile version to fix some of the issues (likes, etc.)?

If you are referring to going to the first new post in a thread, you can do that on the mobile site.

Ah, I see that now on the mobile site. The mobile site may be just as good then IMO. I would have to use it more to really tell, though. <br /><br />This happening when I try to start a new paragraph is annoying on Tapatalk while the likes are a big advantage with it.
