5 points in 9 and a half minutes. They are not really running an offensive. Guys are standing around.

Turgeon going deep early to Barks? Making a statement to the other guys maybe?

SOmething wrong with Mitchell? Barks???

I can see Barks being a message to the starters somewhat... don't understand why Mitchell wasn't in. Good to see Cleare enter the game after missing practice yesterday with the back spasms.

Brutal start for Len, and the rest of the Terps.

Turgeon has to think about more pressure (getting away from the defense he likes) to generate more turnovers defensively.

The guy sitting behind Laranaga looks like Richard Nixon. I thought he was dead. Got better I guess.

Len with a couple of offensive rebound opportunities of late, but missed them both. Maryland really needs to find a rhythm here, this game is there for the taking (and obviously very early).

MD just set the game of basketball back a century with their offensive performance in the 1st Half. Luckily Miami wasn't much better.

This game is U-G-L-Y, you don't need no alibi.

One god awful half. 14 points in a half and only down 5 is very lucky.

Maryland does not do well in a physical game.

Horrible 20 minutes from the offensive end. Defense was a bit better, of course Miami looked inept on offense as well. Hoped with Cleare and Mitchell, we'd look better in a physical game.

The numbers say MD is a very good defensive team... so I understand Turgeon is not going to want to change... but if you regularly turn the ball over, and don't generate turnovers of your own... that is a problem.

Miami did not score over the last 4:43 of the 1st half, but MD had just 3 points in that time.

Tough game... horrible start... I'll feel better if MD finds a way to win.

Terps will look better against NCST Wednesday, in what will be an up and down the court type of game.

Just a terrible game to watch so far. Turgeon needs to find a rhythm for this offense. Stop subbing in 2-3 guys every few minutes and find a group that looks like they are ready to play tonight. No continuity, no rhythm, no confidence.

What a frustrating night. Miami has not played very well, but the Terps have played even worse.
