First, Quinnen what a idiot.
Second, the Jets already don't have a lot of offensive pieces, why wouldn't they resign Robbie Anderson and then add another big, fast WR in this draft? Anyone understand their logic, or is it just the Jets?
Apparently Anderson is a limited route runner and you need to scheme him to get open.
I can see not wanting to spend big money on that.

Douglas is between a rock and hard place and personally I feel he is a dead man walking because it goes from Woody to Adam way too often.
Woody Johnson is in a financial tailspin and should have been forthright last fall that he wasn't going to have the budget to push the salary cap and guaranteed money for this coming season. He left Douglas in the wind and got caught in the crossfire having to roll back on things he wanted to accomplish.
I didn't take the Jets job because I think Adam Gase is a total buffoon who has a god complex, a man who thinks he is an intellectually and morally superior person. I never assume that I am the smartest man in the room, act like the smartest man, that is not leader. I thought of him a bright, but flawed human that will never succeed in a team environment. He is a leader of one.
The Jamal Addams story doesn't surprise me one bit. It's things that I have seen, have heard from others in the building.

Douglas did well considering they had little leverage in the situation, but its unlikely that any of them will have the ceiling or impact of Adams. I fear it could be another GM/Coach making that pick in 2022.

Will be interesting to see how he compares to Darnold. Not apples to apples because of different opponents but if Joe is clearly better than Darnold that doesnt speak well of Darnolds future.

Maybe if we throw in Stanley and RG3, we can get Flacco too.
Darnold's value is so low right now, we might be able to persuade the Jets to trade Lamar for him.

Jets had a positive Covid test today. Everyone sent home. Another round of testing on this player to see if this was a false positive or not coming later today.
Supposed to play Arizona Sunday.

I suspect this is going to get worse. The NFL may need a bubble to get this season even close to complete.
