So the Jets hired Adam Gase who was just fired by Miami after a losing record over 3 seasons. Reminds me of Buffalo hiring Rex Ryan after the Jets fired him. Musical chairs in the AFC Least. I guess New England can continue to pencil in the division for another 5 years.

Not really. He got roughly the same amount of money in terms of guarantees (waiting to see exact numbers on first-3 years which is another important metric). But he's definitely limited his max earnings by holding out.
