Ive said this for awhile. Talented but I want more edge. When I talk aboilut changing or mixing up the DNA this is mostly what I mean.

When they showed Burnes looking out of the dugout after he'd been taken out the look on his face said a thousand words. It was kind of a "I don't know what the F else I could have done" with a mix of "if that was the last game here so be it".

I would love to genuinely ask Elias and a supposed analytical FO why in the hell an exttemely low WPA unclutch guy like Cowser is hitting 4th. How can that make sense

 

Or how reverse splits are constantly ignored. Or if more importance is put on batter performance or opposing pitcher performance when it comes to considering platoon advantages. It seems clear that gaining a platoon advantage is an utmost priority for the organization.

I was there yesterday. I feel like the crowd rose at appropriate times. With that said, there wasn't too much to be excited about and then the regression to the August through mid September malaise of flailing away at the dish for Ks or weak pop ups kind of sucked the energy out of the building.
