There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

not sure how you call G-Rod a potential bust when he's won 13 games and not having pitched for a month...dude deserves a little more grace than that.
Neither is a bust, that's insanity.

We are in real trouble of not making the playoffs.
Magic number is like 4. Not at all worried about that level of collapse. Very worried about being an easy out. But not completely hopeless, still think it's possible to completely flip a switch.

Nice of Kimbrel to throw batting practice in the ninth.

And since you brought up Rodriguez and Bradish. Both are clearly still in bust territory — obviously for different reasons.
You've gone off the reservation.

Maybe Westburg is the MVP of the team...
Silent J with another hit...good to see.

I'm praying O'Hearn hits a dong here, so we get more Rowdy Roddy Piper bagpipes!

Hard to believe this is the same Giants team that was recently shut out for three straight games.

I guess it's possible cause we face the Twins for 3 at the end. If it stays close then they sweep us it's possible.

Ok. If Bradish can’t get over the injury bug and Grayson continues to be “effectively wild” it’s not possible they’re both busts? You've gone off the reservation.
And btw I’m not gonna continue to defend myself against the bright eyed optimists — take all the personal shots at me you want. I’ll live.

I personally don't see that happening this year.
I do think the core is there for a great couple of years starting in 2025

I don't know what your definition of a bust is. But if a player is really good but gets a serious injury and they comeback and can't play near that level they used to, that is not considered a bust. Now if a highly touted player came up and was bad or even mediocre and never got better than that, then you'd have an argument. But because of injury, that doesn't make someone a bust.
And FYI, I'm not a bright eyed optimist. The team stinks right now and I sure don't like our chances.
All I'm doing is just pointing out the holes in your argumen.
