The stretch run of a pennant chase is the perfect time for tweaks and projects.I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe there's something they can improve on. First start with team, probably haven't tweaked anything yet.

Were the scouting videos they requested from Miami doctored by AI? This dude doesn’t look any better than Irvin. Less velocity even. Irvin has had similar runs as he has had over his last 9 games or whatever it is.
But having him for 2025-2026 was more important than trading for an actual talented pitcher like Fedde. Cool.
