I think Rogers is what he is. What you saw tonight is what he is. If he had pitched yesterday, he probably goes 5-6 innings, gives up 3 runs, and gets the win against a crappy, depleted Toronto team. He'll get some wins because he is pitching for a good team and he will beat some bottom feeders. But against good teams you get what you saw tonight. And in the playoffs, meh, I wouldn't start him.
He might be better than Suarez or Povich, but not by much, if at all. I can see taking a chance on him, but not really expecting much. Biggest question I have was why give up so much for him? He's not worth what they traded and is not going to improve the team much over what they already had. It seemed like a trade just to make the trade.
