We have our 2 best starters in the first 2 games with the Sox. Win these and play with house money the last 2.
Screw that. I want them out of commission.
Out. Of. Commission.

If Rodriguez and Westburg are healthy and ready to go when the playoffs begin, the O's will have as good a chance as anyone to win the World Series.
Part of me is enjoying the team having some adversity now, and having to play their way out of it.

Enjoying? That's a bit of a strong word I do think this could be beneficial in the long run if they come out the other side.

Odds of sweeping this series is slim to none. I'll be thrilled with 3 out of 4 but more than likely, it will be a split, keeping up with the .500 mode.
Sir, this is the positivity thread.

A split would be pretty positive.
A split would be satisfactory. We are better than BOS.
A sweep would be positive.

My man Slater with the bunt base hit to lead off the game. My guy has a high baseball I.Q.
The bunt not only shocked me but Vargas probably left a wet spot in his pants.

3 of 4 would be the most positive outcome but a split wouldn't upset me.
My friend. Are you familiar with a positive outlook? This is not the "realistically positive" thread.
The most positive outcome is for us to take 4 of 4 and send the bandwagon Red Sox fans back to Boston (or Alexandria as the case may be) crying in their chowder.

Eflin is really good. Glad we have him for next year, he could really offset losing Burnes.

The fresh squeezed lemonade at the park is consistently a lovely little treat (maybe not a great value but what food at the stadium is?)
