Stoner is generally a more relaxed mod. It will be up to NMS to do it himself.

And Im the miserable prick.

Its one game. Its gonna be a sweaty grind for awhile. We all know this. Every computer model has us at like 95% plus to make the playoffs. We will have Westy back. We hopefully will have GRod and Coloumbe back. We have as good a shot as anyone in the AL.

This is all 100% true too. It isnt just a pep talk. Dog days of summer are real. Look around all of baseball. We will be fine.

We definitely will have a shot if we get Grayson, Coloumbe and Westburg back by the playoffs. I wouldn't get too frustrated by these last 40 games because it's going to be ugly at times like today. Slightly above .500 and we should be ok.

Just keep winning series and things will take care of themselves. That's been my mantra from the onset. Sure, a 10-game winning streak is great and it's fun to watch as it evolves but that's just not who they are right now and haven't been for over a month. Above all else, try to avoid 4-5 game losing streaks. I think they have enough offense/pitching/defense to sidestep that.

It's August 12th and we're tied for the best record in baseball. With only 43 games left that's a good position to be in. Every other team is as flawed as we are. We just need to get healthy in September.
