Amani Hansberry (Illinois) is rumored to be entering the transfer portal soon. He's a native of Silver Spring and went to Mount St. Joseph's, so assume Maryland would be in on him.
Hansberry has officially entered the transfer portal.

Miguel has officially committed to Maryland. They have two open scholarships remaining. In addition to Bryce Pope and Connor Essegian, Maryland also reportedly hosted Selton Miguel (USF) on campus this weekend.

USF was good this year. 15 points a game, good size for a guard. Experienced (118 games played). Shot 39% from 3 on 5.5 attempts per game. That's a good get.

Guards: Gillespie, Rice, Palmer, Stephens
Wings: Miguel, Harris-Smith,
Bigs: Reese, Queen, Geronimo, Pierce
Geronimo is only 6'6, but he plays more like an undersized 4.
Gillespie is starting at the 1 obviously.
Rice, Miguel, Harris-Smith are going to get regular minutes. So, I think two of those three are starters, and other is the 6th man.
Gillespie, Rice, Miguel, Reese, Queen
(Harris-Smith, Stephens, Geronimo, Palmer, Pierce)
Two scholarships left.
Maybe a reserve big?

I think He is Bruno Fernando's cousin. His shooting from 3 and the line really went up last year.
I think last year Willard was just filling roster spots, this year he seems to be getting skilled players who can score.

If the shooting is legit, I like it. Huge uptick in shooting this past year after being a chucker at K-State and first year at USF.
27% from 3 and 68% from FT his first 3 years
39% and 80% last year

Queen obviously a blue chip prospect.
4 very solid additions and retained Reese and DHS.

Doubt we'll get figures but a good recruiting cycle pretty much has to mean that we've done a much better job accumulating NIL cash to throw around, directly or indirectly.Gillespie, Rice, Miguel is a nice portal haul.
Queen obviously a blue chip prospect.

Everything I’ve heard is that the boosters ponied up between $3-4 million this off-season. They’ve been one of the most well-funded NIL programs in the entire country during this cycle.

Malik Mack (Harvard) has officially entered the transfer portal, as expected. The St. John's product instantly becomes one of the best players available, but the UMD tattoo on his wrist indicates Maryland could have an edge here if they're willing to pony up some big NIL money.
Mack is headed to Georgetown.

This is good to hear. Willard has to coach better.

Queen signed his LOI today, which means.....well, these days not very much, other than UM is now allowed to publicly talk about him as a member of the program.
