LB Jaishawn Barham will enter the transfer portal. Absolutely enormous loss for Maryland, as they lose their best defender.
Barham is headed to Michigan.

Slight change of plans for WR Tyrese Chambers. After initially announcing he'd be declaring for the NFL Draft, he's now entered his name into the transfer portal. I was under the impression that he had used up all of his eligibility, but apparently that's not the case.

Former Georgia OL Aliou Bah has transferred to Maryland. He's a former 4-star recruit from Memphis, TN who attended the IMG Academy. Will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Former Shorter College OL Alan Herron has also transferred to Maryland. He had initially committed to Penn State a few weeks ago, but has flipped and signed with the Terps. Will have two years of eligibility remaining.
With these additions, the team has now added a whopping 10 offensive linemen to the roster during this off-season.

McCord is only marginally better than the other quarterbacks on Maryland's roster, and he was demanding a guaranteed starting job and a big heap of NIL money. Congrats to him for finding somewhere he could get both of those things, I guess.

This is really good news. When Maryland gets blitzed against really good teams it is usually because they get destroyed in the trenches, especially the Oline. The more bodies the better Chance that they can build a good Oline.

While not an official declaration, Delmar Glaze accepted an invite to participate in the Senior Bowl a few days ago. He was an NFL prospect coming into the season and did nothing to change that, so I'd be surprised if he doesn't enter the draft.

LB Ruben Hyppolite II has announced he'll officially be returning for his final season in College Park. A big retention for Maryland's defense, especially after Jaishawn Barham's departure.

Hyppolite is great, he is Ray Lewis like. He is going to do well in the NFL.

Cool from Hyppolite, I really appreciate these guys that stay all 4 years and stay the course. We don't get many of them anymore. He played really well in the bowl game.
