Sounds like his case does center around a couple of those games he appeared in at Alabama in 2019. In two of those games he only played two snaps, one of which he wanted to go in to honor Tua who had to leave the game with a hip injury. MD filed the waiver on his behalf and it sounds like Alabama is supportive of his effort. With the arbitrary manner the NCAA handles these things, I wouldn't even set odds on what his chances are.
