If he is able to learn from Brees and eventually re sign and take over, that may be a great spot for him.
He may also gain 30 pounds living in New Orleans.

Might be absolutely ideal. He could be the long term answer and get a chance to learn from one of the hardest working professionals in recent memory.

I thought the same thing. This might work out great for Winston. Brees has said this will be his last year. It gives Winston a chance to step back and learn.

If the Ravens don't win the Super Bowl this year, I hope it's New Orleans. Drew Brees is one of my favorite non-Ravens ever.

Interesting that they added an extra year on Taysom Hill too. They have a talented and different style QB room.Jameis Winston signing a one year deal with the Saints.

I would kind of like to see New Orleans win as well, not only for Brees, but because they have had the worst 3 year run of playoff luck I think I have ever seen.

Well for sure I want the Saints to win the Super Bowl!!! Interesting signing of Winston. Hopefully he doesn't see the field much. Because the only reason he plays much is if Drew is hurt.

The Raiders looked good. Especially offensively, but the Saints let the momentum get away from them.

We had zero answer to covering their tight end. He ate us up.

I heard mentioned, what is up with not using Hill as much. Are they trying not to get him hurt because Brees could .? They do have Winston.

I think there is some major issue with the Saints offense. There are several factors that may be in play here:
1. Missing Michael Thomas is certainly a big deal.
2. Perhaps they are not sure the O line can protect long enough for down field routes to develop.
3. Perhaps they don't have good enough route runners for more down field routes.
4. Perhaps Brees has really lost any arm strength.
But after watching last night and looking at the passing distance for the Saints (last in the league by a bunch) it was clear that the Packers had zero worry that the Saints would throw downfield. They continually stacked the box with 8 or 9 defenders. This made the running game and short passing game extremely difficult. In fact the only damage they did was because they got some really big plays from Alvin.
Color me worried....big time.
