The least explicable move in recent memory. What purpose does this serve? At least I don't think they care about each million spent anymore, so imagine they'll cut him soon but really can't imagine what he does that we don't already have two guys on the roster who do it better.

He’s very good at not striking out. Savant gives off Frazier vibes, which isn’t a good thing.

Im not sure they plan to play Urias everyday.  I would have preferred WOng though. At least Wong can play defense.

Still no guarantee he actually makes the OD roster, but it's no surprise that they would want a lefthanded hitter to play 2B.  Maybe Nevin is on the roster for the first week, and then Kemp bridges the gap to Holliday?

Hes worse than WOng IMO. I just dont get the decision to not keep WOng if they wanted a LH bat in the infield for awhile. The fact that he might be able to play a bit of LF does nothing for me either. If Hays is gonna lose some ABs to a LH hitting OF it should be Cowser obviously

I didn't see his salary mentioned anywhere. Everywhere I looked, it just said he was signed to a minor league deal.

Doubtful. Mateo could go but I think they like his speed and the fact that hes a true SS should Gunnar go down. I feel like this is a 1 for 1 replacement for Jackson. Or until Jackson comes up.
