Povich is slated to start Sunday.  I think I'd go with Suarez instead.

 

Off days today and Monday add some flexibility and reduce the number of games Povich pitches.

 

Thursday - off

Friday - Eflin

Saturday - Burnes

Sunday - Suarez

Monday - off

Tuesday 9/17 - Kremer

Wednesday 9/18 - Eflin

Thursday 9/19 - Burnes

Friday 9/20 - Suarez

I wish we would find someone other than Povich period. I just think Irvin, as bad as he can be, is more likely to keep you in a game

Yeah as a season ticket holder (well I don't pay for them but still counts lol) I'd just like to ensure I see a home playoff game and let the chips fall where they may from there

I don't know why anyone gets excited about it being a home playoff series, unless you have tickets to the first game or two.  The team plays about the same, whether they're home or on the road.

I'd almost always rather play the playoff game at home VS away.

Plus, there's just something magical about postseason baseball at OPACY (soon to be T Rowe Price Field at Under Armour Stadium).

To be fair, every major sport does this, not just NASCAR, Euro Football has been doing it for decades.

I think the divisional title is pretty much over, but they better be really careful over the next few weeks, or you'll get your wish.

My radical plan the last 2 weeks.

Since I honestly don't believe we can do anything but lose in the first round unless the offense takes a major reset. I am not buying the anything can happen in the playoffs. Not in this case or we would have seen at least a short period where the offense turned it on.

So I am taking 2-3field players and sending them home for 3 days. I don't want them near the stadium. No baseball of any sort. Go fishing. Stay home and play with the kids. Hire cookers. Get planted. Whatever floats your boat. But NO baseball period. Then they come back and I send the next batch of guys home. And yeah so we play short handed. So what.

Dumb idea? Of course it us but NOTHING has worked for 3 months. Maybe a mental reset is worth a shot.
